Your consultation, in full transparency

Who will handle my request?

Once the questionnaire is complete, a general practitioner accepts your consultation after reviewing your medical file. If necessary, they can issue a medical document accepted in pharmacies, containing your treatment, or prescribe additional tests.

How quickly does the doctor respond?

The average waiting time observed for a consultation is under 35 minutes. As soon as you have finalised your request and completed the medical questionnaire, an available general practitioner quickly reviews your file. The teleconsultation then begins immediately.

How long will the exchange last?

The questionnaire allows the doctor handling your request to obtain information about your health and to establish a diagnosis. Once the doctor has reviewed your information, they will immediately start an exchange by instant messaging.

Covid-19

Think you might have Covid? A headache or symptoms similar to flu could point to Covid-19, a global pandemic that is still present in France. Symptoms can vary from person to person. Getting tested is the best way to check whether you are carrying the virus and to protect others. Do not hesitate to seek advice from a general practitioner through teleconsultation with Feeli.

What are the symptoms of Covid-19?

People who catch the Covid-19 virus can be affected in various ways, as symptoms can vary depending on the individual, their age and the Covid-19 variant involved. A large number of people who fall ill develop a mild to moderate form of the disease and recover within a few days without needing hospital care. This disease, caused by a coronavirus and first identified in China, quickly became known as Covid-19: CO for corona, VI for virus and D for disease, with 19 referring to 2019, the year the disease first appeared in China. The virus responsible for the disease is called SARS-CoV-2, closely related to the SARS virus (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which also emerged in China around twenty years earlier. The symptoms of Covid-19 are similar to those of other acute respiratory infections such as flu. While the most common symptoms are general fatigue, fever, coughing and breathing difficulties, it is estimated that 40% of people who catch the virus develop no symptoms at all. Symptoms are moderate in around 40% of cases, and 15 to 20% of people report a severe form of the disease. Other symptoms reported include aches and pains or back pain, migraines, a sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and breathing difficulties. Loss of smell and taste are symptoms very characteristic of Covid-19. If you think you have symptoms of Covid-19, isolate yourself and keep away from others. If you have been in contact with someone who is ill, remember to get tested too, as you could be asymptomatic; these measures help slow the spread of the health crisis. Symptoms appear between 1 and 14 days after exposure.

When should you get tested and consult a doctor?

Do you have symptoms of Covid-19? Or have you recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid? When should you get tested? If you have symptoms suggestive of the virus, start by isolating yourself and take a test as soon as possible. If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid, it is recommended that you isolate yourself to protect others, take a screening test and monitor your health. To increase the reliability of an antigen test or a self-test, it is best to get tested within 4 days of the onset of symptoms suggestive of Covid; the same applies if you are a contact case. In the latter case, you should get tested from day 2 after contact with the positive person. Whether vaccinated or not, the same rule applies to everyone. As the nasopharyngeal PCR test is considered the most reliable, it is recommended for people who have had Covid symptoms for more than 4 days to be tested using this type of test.

The benefits of using Feeli for Covid-19

Turning to a medical teleconsultation with a healthcare professional is encouraged and recommended in the case of Covid. Feeli connects you with healthcare professionals and general practitioners to ensure good care of the illness as soon as symptoms appear. Teleconsulting with Feeli avoids contact with other people, which can help slow the spread of the virus; the site also allows for care coordination, follow-up of chronic conditions or the renewal of your prescriptions. It is also possible to get remote analysis of your test results. There's no need to wait to consult a doctor on Feeli, as online consultation is accessible without an appointment. Depending on your needs and availability, simply log in to the Feeli website from a computer, tablet or smartphone. Answer a questionnaire designed by the site to save you time when your case is reviewed by the healthcare professional. During the teleconsultation, the doctor reviews your medical history, treatments, medical file and the symptoms to be treated. They will propose a treatment, and you will find any prescription directly in your user area. It's a time-saving service that is practical and easy to use. With Feeli, you can even order your Covid test for home testing online.
FEELI is not an emergency service. In case of emergency, call 15 (SAMU, France) or 112, the European emergency number.
