Our verified reviews
Your consultation, in full transparency
Who will handle my request?
Once the questionnaire is complete, a general practitioner accepts your consultation after reviewing your medical file. If necessary, they can issue a medical document accepted in pharmacies, containing your treatment, or prescribe additional tests.
How quickly does the doctor respond?
The average waiting time observed for a consultation is under 35 minutes. As soon as you have finalised your request and completed the medical questionnaire, an available general practitioner quickly reviews your file. The teleconsultation then begins immediately.
How long will the exchange last?
The questionnaire allows the doctor handling your request to obtain information about your health and to establish a diagnosis. Once the doctor has reviewed your information, they will immediately start an exchange by instant messaging.

Medical questionnaire
Inspired by millions of in-person consultations, the questionnaire the patient completes is an essential first step that allows the doctor to establish a precise medical diagnosis.

Diagnosis
Based on your answers, the doctor reviews your request and talks with you directly by video call and/or instant messaging, then establishes a diagnosis.

Prescription
At the end of your consultation, the doctor sends you a medical document available in your personal space, letting you collect your treatment at the pharmacy without having to print it.

What does the gynaecologist do?
The gynaecologist is the specialist in women's health. This specialist deals in particular with:• Contraception (see pregnancy prevention) ;
• Conditions affecting the genital tract ;
• Period problems ;
• Those associated with menopause, and diseases of the breast, uterus, ovaries, genital organs and cancers.
The gynaecologist also works to regulate hormonal imbalances, and provides protection and information about sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The gynaecologist follows and supports women from puberty through to menopause. A distinction can be made between medical gynaecology and obstetric gynaecology. Medical gynaecologists do not carry out deliveries or surgical procedures; they treat abnormalities and dysfunctions of the female reproductive system, carry out fertility assessments, prescribe contraception, and so on. The obstetric gynaecologist cares for pregnant women and the unborn baby, monitors high-risk pregnancies, and performs caesarean sections and episiotomies.
When should you see a gynaecologist?
A woman's first gynaecological consultation often takes place when she becomes sexually active. One of the most common reasons for seeing a gynaecologist is getting a contraception prescription. All women are advised to have regular follow-up with a gynaecologist throughout their lives, with at least one visit per year. The gynaecologist regularly carries out gynaecological examinations to check on their patients' health. A cervical smear test is recommended every 3 years. From age 50, women are also advised to have a mammogram. It is necessary to see a gynaecologist in the event of female health issues such as:• Painful, irregular or absent periods ;
• Pain in the breasts or ovaries ;
• Vaginal infections or irritation of the mucous membranes ;
• Pain felt during sexual intercourse ;
• Unexplained vaginal bleeding ;
• Unsuitable contraception ;
• Termination of pregnancy ;
• Fertility problems.
Women can consult this trusted specialist during pregnancy or menopause. There are many reasons why a woman might see this specialist. Consulting a gynaecologist does not require a follow-up consultation with a general practitioner.
